Chest: Measure chest just under arms and across shoulder blades, holding the tape level (don’t hold your breath). Be sure to cross over the shoulder blades and at the fullest part of your chest.
Body Length: - This measurement is taken from the bottom of collar to bottom of jacket hem
Sleeve Length: - Outer seam: You'll need assistance for this one, however this is the most accurate way to measure sleeve length. See help notes*(a)
Sleeve Length: - Inner seam: This measurement is not as accurate as the “Outer seam option” as all jackets vary in style! See help notes*(b)
*(a) Standing up straight, bend your arm at a right angle and place hand on waist- as if you were blocking in a football.
Place one end of the tape measure at the nape of the neck and measure to the shoulder and down the arm to the wrist.
*(b) Place one of your jackets on to a flat surface, now place end of the tape measure under the arm at the point where the fabric comes together, then run the tape along the under arm seam down to the point where the sleeve ends.
